Arapawa sheep are a breed of wild sheep found only in New Zealand. Originally they came from a small archipelago of islands off New Zealand, where they were farmed to feed the whaling settlements in the 1800's. They are now found running wild across most of New Zealand.
They are a dark black faced sheep, possessing a very thick matted wool coat and sport large dark horns which can go "full curl" twice!
These animals can be hunted year round. and are a great additional animal to hunt!
