Roe Deer

Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus)

A unique species to Europe, they rut in the summer months and grow velvet through the winter. Antlers are small and possess up to 3 points per side. This species can be hunted as part of a package deal alongside the Pere David's deer from June-August. Though they can be hunted from April until November.
