Sambar Deer (Rusa unicolor)

Sambar deer are a species found native to India and south east Asia, sporting antlers with 3 points per side, an exceptional trophy is around 30 inches in length, however anything over 24 inch length is a mature and respectable trophy stag.

We are fortunate to have access to over 5000 hectares of private farm land and forestry on which we can hunt this incredible species free range. For such a large animal, they are exceptionally difficult to hunt, with senses finely tuned to evade Bengal Tigers, most mature stags are strictly nocturnal.
