Collection: Fallow Buck Hunting

Fallow are a wonderful species to hunt, their palmate antlers are unique among the deer world, and can come in 4 different colour phases; Common (Chestnut brown with white spots and black and white markings), Menil (a pale brown with bright white spots and a pale white neck), melanistic (black, or often referred to as chocolate) and white (neither albino nor leucitic, this is a coat colour, and the deer retain their normal eye and nose colour).

Bucks perform lekking behaviour during the rut (April) and can be herd croaking deeply, and posturing to the does, fierce fights often lead to animals dying!
